FA devices account for a large share of our products overall and are the main products that lead Takebishi's growth today. Major applications include components used in drive, power distribution, and control units of instruments and devices produced by set manufacturers. Further pioneering of applications and the continued growth of related industries make this business field one with excellent growth potential centering on controllers, servomotors, inverters, and OMRON products.

Takebishi is engaged in receiving orders of factory automation systems that will automate and labor-save production lines. Moreover, the Company is engaged in the development of original products in addition to designing systems and developing software. This division expresses the Company’s characteristics and thus is expected to continue growing for the future.

Industrial equipment is generally sold to set makers and the manufacturing industry to be incorporated in their production facilities. Industrial robots and NCs are supplied to set makers as components of production facilities. Continued automation and labor reduction make for bright long-term prospects for this business segment.

Semiconductors are sold mainly to component assemblers and electronic device manufactures as components for their equipment and machines. Sales have increased smoothly due to the Company's emphasis on the development of software applicable to microcomputers and ASICs as well as dealing in semiconductors produced overseas.

Electronic devices are sold mainly to component assemblers. Recently the Company has been on generating orders and increased sales of CPU boards and customer boards. Demand for electronic devices for multimedia-related products is expected to grow. In this field, such devices are used for various display equipment including LCD modules and touchpanels, printers, power units, and storage.

The main products in our residential air-conditioning equipment business are air conditioners and residential equipment, which are sold through builders and equipment companies. The Company handles air-conditioning equipment and low-temperature equipment from involvement in the design stage to the installation work.

Building equipment products mainly cover elevators and escalators. Steady growth is expected for this business segment in process of increasing intelligent offices and comfortable buildings.

Takebishi’s electric power and governmental contracts segment sells products to Kansai Electric Power Co., Inc., the prefectures of Kyoto and Shiga, and other local governments (mainly equipment for water and sewerage systems), and equipment for factories and buildings. This business segment is expected to provide stable sales over the long term.

The medical electronics segment sells radiation therapy equipment (LINAC) mainly to hospitals. Amid the advance in medical treatment, this segment is expected to provide stable growth over the long term.

Takebishi’s information systems business integrates the three major areas of equipment sales, system development, and maintenance. In recent years, the Company has emphasized security and ERP systems, and the Company has earned a reputation as a capable systems integrator. Continued implementation of information systems means this segment is expected to maintain a high rate of growth.

The Information and communication equipment business is expected to show growing demands for large-sized imaging, advanced telecommunication systems, and mobile systems, which are pushed by expansion in a wide range of information, telecommunication, and image-related segments including mobile phones.
